INGREDIENTS
Meat department
Pork belly, skin on - 2 lbs, sliced to 1" wide strips
Spice rack & Baking aisle
Garlic powder - 1 Tbsp
Black pepper, ground - 1-1/2 tsp
Five spice powder - 1/2 tsp
Szechuan pepper, ground - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1-1/2 Tbsp
DIRECTIONS
Mix all the spices to create a dry rub for the pork. Marinade the slices for 3 days in the refrigerator. Freeze the strips if not consumed after 3 days.
Preheat the oven to 400F. Bake for 30-45 minutes until the outside looks crispy. Cut to 1/2"-1" cubes when serving.
