Beartso's Famous

BBQ ribs

Formerly known as "Justin's Famous BBQ ribs".

The famous rub.

INGREDIENTS

  • Kosher salt, coarse - 1-1/2 tbsp

  • Brown sugar - 3 tbsp

  • Paprika - 1.5 tbsp

  • Garlic powder - 3 tsp

  • Onion powder - 3 tsp

  • Black pepper, coarse grind - 2 tsp

  • Rosemary - 1/2 tsp

DIRECTIONS

For best results, marinade the ribs 1 day in advance and begin cooking at 5 hours before serving time!

  1. Trim the fat and membrane of the ribs. Rinse and pat dry.

  2. Sprinkle and rub on a generous amount of Beartso's Famous BBQ dry rub.

  3. Wrap the ribs in foil, meat side down. Refrigerate until the next day.

  4. Place the ribs in the oven - convection, 225F for 4 hours (no need to preheat the oven).

  5. After 4 hours, take the ribs out of the oven and remove the foil. Change oven temp to 375F.

  6. Brush the BBQ sauce on both sides of the ribs. Bake with meat side up for 30 mins.
